Interrogator: The Inquisition knows all. Only full confession can save your soul. For the Emperor’s Sake confess your crimes and blasphemy of donning crusade era Dark Angels livery! I have contacted the Dark Angels, they have no record of you being a recruit.

 

Prisoner: [More laughter; turning to screams as the Interrogator lashes out with a neural stick]

 

[Darkness. Alarms start barring and suddenly cease]

 

Prisoner: You believe in simple truths. I spit on your superstition, your faith in false gods. I will not be judged by rabble clinging to fragments of the Great Crusade. My [garbbled] come for me. Fear them. I have only pity for you… they are descending upon this place.

 

[static; screaming. Beams of light stab out seeking the Interrogator, servators and the Prisoner. Single bolter shots explode the heads of all but the prisoner. Camera angle shakes, falls down facing the floor]

 

Prisoner: So you have found me at last… if not for that fool contacting [static for two minutes and 24 seconds].

 

[Camera angles whips around. A Space Marine in Tactical Dreadnought armor painted black is gripping the skull camera of the servitor in one hand.]

 

Prisoner: You cannot hide the truth forever. The Emperor knows.

 

Voice from the Darkness: We will deal with you Master Silias in all good time. Repent now and you will earn a quick death.

 

Terminator: Captain, this camera is the source of the signal. It appears to be operational.

 

Voice from the Darkness: Kill the camera you fool! No record [recording ends].

 

Thus ends the chronicle of Inquisitional Outpost 92038. Lord, Inquisitor Sera was investigating a cult proclaiming a new Great Crusade and casting down all religious structures of the Emperor. She managed to capture the head cultist, immediately before the continent was burned in a freak solar flare. The Dark Angel Strike Cruiser Blade of Truth reported freak storm, and that no survivors were detected. Concerned that chaos activity was picking up, and caused the solar flare the Blade of Truth called on Outpost 92038, only to find it destroyed. Inquisitor Sera and her prisoner were not found at the location. Interogator-Chaplain expressed sadness that he was not able to intervene earlier to save Inquisitor Sera or participate in dismantling the cult.

 

While investigating the ruins of Outpost 92038, this recording was discovered under an interrogation table. No bodies were found, nor any trace of a conflict.
