If I can offer some advice, how about some dark grey highlights on the black armour, followed by a black wash over the black and silver areas. A Baal Red/Carroburg Crimson wash on the red cloak will give it some depth, and either a brown or sepia wash on the gold areas will make them look better. What're you planning for the base? Posted April 22, 2012 Author Share Posted April 22, 2012 Every time I try highlights it looks bad, I have some fine motor problems from concussion damage, so my steadiness of hand is hit and miss. There's a fine layer of dry-brushing on the edges but it doesn't show up in the pic. I do like the idea of the washes. Which one of those reds is the current color?
