Tzimisce169 Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I had this idea on the way back from work on Friday night and had to make it while the idea was still fresh in my mind. I really liked the idea of a piece that shows off the total brutality of the 40k universe rather than the child friendly version that GW would have us buy into. Unfortunately, the 40k setting has an 18 rating but is aimed at kids. Thas not to say everybody into 40k is a kid but that is normally where it starts. If its not already on the cards, add some flesh and bones protruding from the severed legs, it'll ramp this up to EPIC. Now I'm gunna have to have a dig about my stuff and finish my mini diorama. Boney stumps will be added as soon as I find my old skelly sprues. I'm not to sure what colour scheme to do the base in. Obviously there will be a great deal of blood but the last thing I want to do is ruin the conversion with a half arsed base. Any suggestions would be greatfully received. Let's see how you feel about that statement when your codex sucks and ours is the powerful one with many options that almost make no sense. OT- Love it. I now have no idea where any of it is as the little critters like to hide my models whenever they can. I'll do my best to find it and get it painted within the next couple of months.
