Recommended Posts

This seems like an appropriate place to put my friends and myself Primarchs up to showcase. Anyway, we are working hard to get them all done. Feedback is appreciated!!

Corax looks pretty badass, but the Emperor's face looks a little off somehow...

Those are all pretty sick looking. My only beef is with the Mortarion one, it lacks the same wow factor as the others. I wish I knew what it was missing but I know it is something

A cape or cloak?

Holy crap those look great - especially Corax. That has to be the most faithful depiction of him I've seen since Deliverance Lost came out. Very nice indeed. I think the talons on the Emperor's left hand are a bit oversized, personally, they could do with being about half the length, imho.

Jesus, those are amazing. I do agree that the Emperor's claws are two or three times too long, but that's probably easily fixed for someone of your obvious skill.

Personality. The rest are either in a dynamic pose or poised in a memorable fashion, while Mortarion is standing at attention.

Yep, that's it! The model itself is good it just needs a better pose.

Awesome. Dorn needs a mustache, and the Emperor needs to replace the lightning claws with a power fist, but overall, they seem faithful to Games Workshop's designs.

Whatcha talkin bout Willis? I've never seen Dorn ever having a mustache in artwork and the Emperor certainly always has his iconic claw. Dorn could loose his claw though... can't swing a giant chainsword with that.

I like these, especially Corax, but I feel a couple might have their proportions slightly off - or maybe it's the angle... Namely the Emperor and Dorn, in trying to increase the height of the torso, it feels out of proportion with the legs. I feel the likes need to be slightly longer. Just a little nitpick. Otherwise awesome.

Dorn's never been pictured or described as having a 'stache in official GW work, that's true. However, there's a B&Cer whose name escapes me at the moment who did some work that's up on Deviant Art picturing all of the Primarchs. Dorn is shown with a Burnside in his art, and it works. Beautifully. Let me see if I can dig it up. . .

Edit: Bam, here it is. Not the original, though; can't get on Deviantart from a government computer. :-(

Hey guys,

Thanks for checking this out. We are new to making entire figs. We are generally conversion guys but this offered a new challenge. We certainly do our best. Anyway, they are all resin now and certainly easy to convert from this point. We recognize we are far from perfect and do not have the power of folks like GW etc, but we are proud of what we have done and with only four to go we look to be the first to have attempted and completed

All 18 Primarchs and an emperor. Flaws and all we stand proud.

Again thanks for all the feedback!!!! Please keep it coming.

That being said we finished Magnus last night.

These are incredible. Please please tell me you are doing Sanguinius sometime soon. I also feel like Rogal Dorn was magnificently done as well.

I am with the others on Mortarion. I feel he is lacking...but maybe because of his persona he just needs a smokey, billowy cape. Reminiscent of the smog from his home world? I remember hearing about him always having such somewhere....

We have 4 left to sculpt (Khan, Russ, Horus and the last slips my mind). I have most sitting on the table waiting for final touches to be made ready for casting. Each one from start to finish is roughly 20 hours, so as you can imagine the que is quite long. We do hope to have all of them finished within another month or so.

I believe that's Aerion's handiwork. And yes, it actually does look quite nice.

They're shorter and more hooked in Collected Visions.

And in the older stuff (the art to the William King short story of the final battle, and the Mike McVey diorama) the Emperor's left hand looks more power fist-ish than lightning claw-ish.

When it comes to nail clippers that is all just taste. You can always clip them yourself. We do make them out of resin! As for the "small mint" I doubt that. We were just encouraged locally to make them a available do we did. To be honest we have only sold one so far. Good news is Dave Taylor saw it and loved it! So that was pretty awesome.
