Primarchs

Fully Painted

I think you could definitly sell these. Though your price (you told me elsewhere) does come slightly over kabuki. And even kabuki, don't have insane sales. Their models are limited and still sell for a long time. Also i find kabuki models to be slightly better, though it is a matter of personal taste and you could compare each individual primarch. i like your dorn more for example, and kabuki seem to bend one knee/leg on most of their miniatures so it fits a scenary.

Anyhow, keep it up and i'm sure you'll get sales when the word spreads. It's nice to have more options when deciding to give your army their primarch. ;)

We are selling them, but really only through direct contact. As I have mentioned we did not start this project for anyone but ourselves. It was just people asking if they could get one and encouraging us to make them available. As for the price, we just picked something that would make I worth going through all the hassle to make them. We really don't think we are getting rich off a few models! Anyway, I hope I did not break any forum rules just now.

We really can't thank everyone enough for the kind words and critiques.

We have 4 left to sculpt (Khan, Russ, Horus and the last slips my mind). I have most sitting on the table waiting for final touches to be made ready for casting. Each one from start to finish is roughly 20 hours, so as you can imagine the que is quite long. We do hope to have all of them finished within another month or so.

Slips your mind!?? Why I oughtta....

I like them just don't like the Angron. He was never a fan of the Emperor and to see him with aquilas on his axes.....just looks wierd.

Kabuki models are very nice but neverthless they are wayyyy to small. The are smaller and thinner than every terminator marine and that's a bit uncool. They have very nice sculpts and are good for showcase but if you want to field a primarch you need either the old ones from ronin (was the name I think) or maybe those here...didn't catch the size of them...do you have a comparsion shot?

I think very highly of the Kabuki models, but I happen to agree with this comment completely. Therefore we made ours larger than a terminator.

guys do you have a list of what you have?

Aren't the kabuki models 48mm tall compared to the 28mm of a standard marine

I own the first 5 (Fulgrim, Angron, Lion, Roboute and Dorn) - they are the same size as a normal Space Marine. The GW Marneus Galgar Figures is more massive than anyone of them...this said, they are bristling with details and really look nice but they would look silly, leading a pre-heresy army full of marines that are more massive than them....

Ehh. . . . I'm a fan of some of your previous work, but as an Iron Hand player, I must admit to being let down by Ferrus. He's way too skinny, especially in the thighs and waist, and he has been depicted in fluff and artwork wielding a sword or a hammer, but never an axe with a shield.

We are all entitled to,our opinions. It is a pick/hammer and a shield. As for the scale, he is nothing shirt of huge. Damn near as big as Magnus. In all fairness, he would be easy to convert, but thanks for sharing your opinions.
