Nice paint job, but your photography could use some work.

Next time don't use a flash, and try to have a clear, clutter free background.

Take pic of the model with a solid colored background, experiment with different colors.

Can't wait to see more of your stuff.

It always makes me laugh when people post a pic of a pretty well painted mini and then say "oh, I've only been doing this for a month or so". Then I look at my miniatures and cry. Did I say laugh earlier? I meant cry.

That's a really good mini. Kudos.

Thank you for kind words every one.

Especially the photo tips Ill try and get more shots of my "green" men tonight. I have real problems with the light living in a rather gloomy part of the Uk

Its not my first my model reckoning I have painted about 20 others and a laidraider that I ruined with too much battle damage but hey you live and learn.

I have gained so much from visiting this site so just want to say a big thanks to every one for all the tutorials and images. (and it helps the day go by at work).

A tripod is a great help for taking pictures in the UK, you can then use natural light from a window instead of nasty colour changing harsh contrast on camera flash ;)

Logan looks good as far as I can tell from the pic but I'm not sure about the flesh tone, it looks off, but it may be a white balance issue with the photo?

Hey farassyl, welcome!

Very nice paint jobs :( Keep up the great work!

One tip for photography is to get all of the light that you can - the more the better. I shine two different lamps on my minis and also use the room light and any natural sunlight. You can also color-balance your photos in an image editing program to make sure the colors look like they're supposed to.

Cheers!
