Brother Ambroz
I've noticed lately on a few of the newer kits that I've bought from FW that some of the pieces seem to have absolutely no releasing agent on them. Has anyone noticed this before? Particularly on the rhino upgrade kits. I don't really want to scrub it if I don't have to...... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/251407-fw-kits-without-releasing-agent/ Share on other sites
Kurgan the Lurker
Better safe than sorry. I'd scrub them, release agent or not. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/251407-fw-kits-without-releasing-agent/#findComment-3047842 Share on other sites
AdeptusDavidus
Scrubbing should be done to basically any model, anyway. Plastics and metals frequently have residue left over from manufacturing, too. (I don't know if that's mold-release agents specifically, or what.) Jacinda
I don't really want to scrub it if I don't have to...... ;) It's part of the hobby. The only pieces you don't need to wash are the pieces you won't be using. Realy, it's like 2 minutes to prevent heartbreak later on.
