Angorn and An'ggrath

So i've been reading on the greatest units a chaos army can have and Angorn and An'ggrath always pop up. I am interested in acquiring both because who doesn't want the best models an army can give? The main problem is that I can't find any rules or stats on either. All I can find is forums that hint at their abilities (Angorn 1 hit kill? An'ggrath needs 2 bloodthirsters as an escort?) but give no clear facts. Also the only way to have either of them seems to mean that i have to convert other models (which I'm prepared to do but it would be nice if there was an official kit). In short, what are Angorn's and An'ggrath's stats and what would be the simplest way to create (or buy) them?

I believe that the Forgeworld Bloodthirster is nominally An'ggrath and there are rules for him in the second edition IA: Apocalypse rulebook. Those rules, however, are intended for use in apocalypse, mind you.

As for Angron I don't think there are any official rules, let alone current ones I have found rules in a PDF format after a very cursory google search: Linky (it's from WD344 I think). There certainly isn't an official model of Angron in 40k and I can't remember for life of me if anyone has made an unofficial model. :cuss

Olisredan is right; there was an official, Apocalypse-only release of rules for Angron in WD some time ago, and the link he provided are indeed those rules.

There is no official model, but I know that Ultraforge produce a large, Bloodthirster looking monster. If he's taller than a GW Bloodthirster, he could do as a stand in. Other than that, you'll just have to look into making him yourself.

As for An'ggrath, the FW model is the model for him. You can find his rules in a few books I think, I have Imperial Armour Apocalypse and he's in there. I think he may also be in the normal Apocalypse book (by GW).

I don't think the B+C rules allow for me to post his stats and rules and such, but suffice to say he's a freakin' monster. You hit your enemies front line with him, and he'll tear everything apart. If memory serves (don't have my IA book open right now), he's also the best of the four of the Greater, Greater Daemons that FW make in terms of points cost ratio to battlefield ability.

I feel like I should also point out here that I've only ever seen An'ggrath's rules in Imperial Armour Apocalypse and Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition (not to be confused with Imperial Armour Apocalypse II), and his rules and stats vary slightly in each.

As Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition is the latest publication, I'd go with the rules presented therein over those in the other book.
