Swift claws and Sky claws instead of blood claws

Bloodclaws, TYPICALLY, are pretty much avoided. There are some SW players, but many players (myself included) have difficulty justifying spending the points when your other troop choice in Grey Hunters is more viable. BloodClaws just don't seem to be a viable option until they are bought en masse and buffed up, which ends up costing a lot of points.

As for Swiftclaws or Skyclaws, I'm not sure. I haven't run either of those. I've found that Thunderwolf Cavalry is a much better fast attack option than swiftclaws. I'm currently experimenting with Skyclaws myself.

If you're just starting out, stick to Hunters for your troop and then begin to experiment.

if you want claws, you need to put someone in with them that will reel in there headstrong rule. decide what you want the unit to do, and then build them that way.

i would say the swiftclaws over sky just because their mobility IMHO is better. but you need to put someone in the unit to stop head strong.

Maybe you could use the parts for other things like conversions or characters on Bikes and sell the Jump Packs to a local BA player? It'd give you more money to buy other things.

On a serious note, dswanick has the right idea with magnetising them. Of the 3, Swiftclaws are the best, followed by the Blood Claws (who are actually ok but have to compete with arguably the best Troops in the game in the form of GH) with Skyclaws trailing in *way* behind (because they're that bad).

I agree with Toasterfree. I like Swiftclaws over Skyclaws for the mobility. Granted they can't do anything in the turn on which they boost, but it helps get them into combat faster. Not to mention it gives the other person something to worry about.
