Meatcaber
Hi all, Have asked this question in a couple of other threads but I still haven't got an answer and I really need to know! If I have more than one Drop Pod do I have to Deep Strike half of them in my first turn or can I instead choose to Deep Strike all of them? Thanks in advance for the answer, lol
Eorek
Half rounded up deepstrike round 1... rest are kept in strategic reserve ... isn'ät it quite clear in the codex?
dswanick
You must deploy half (rounded up) of all your Drop Pods on turn one using Deep Strike. The rest become available as usual on turns 2+, using the standard Reserve availability roll. This is not optional.
Meatcaber
Alright! Thanks for the quick response :tu:
Emperors Immortals
you can however take 5 pods and only fill 3 thus guaranteeing a full force to splas down turn 1 with two pods to annoy opponent later.
Meatcaber
Indeed! Had thought of that already and implemented something similar into my current army list, but only using three Pods to 'assault' both DC elements of my force right up my enemies nose! Whether it be a good idea or not, only time will tell!
