c-wrex
So, I just re-read the codex again last night after some thinking. Each Brotherhood has a designated Champion, right? Even the Purifier order maintains Castellan Crowe. But what about the Paladins? Is there a Champion of the Champion's Club? It seems to me that there ought to be. Maybe some tough ass bastard who is assigned to the Supreme Grand Master, barring there being some kind of "Cursed Grand Master permanently wandering the Warp" void in the heirarchy. Discuss? No, wait. Discuss. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/251454-brotherhood-champions/ Share on other sites

c-wrex
Lord Kaldor Draigo?? Yeah... except he is not a Paladin. It's highly likely he was before he ascended to the rank of Brother Captain, but his current rank within the chapter, in as far as I know, is that he is the Supreme Grandmaster, absentee though he may be. What I'm curious about is there an individual in the Paladin's ranks who is equivalent to Crowe, or whoever serves as their Brotherhood Champion. I know the codex is mum on the subject, but I put to you guys, what do you think about it? Could there be one? Would he be double hard on toast? Stale, extra hard toast? RolandTHTG
Except I don't think that Paladins are a separate brotherhood like the Purifiers are. Remember, they exist in the eight regular brotherhoods, acting like the command squad or retinue for the brotherhood captain or grandmaster. c-wrex
True dat, as per the dex, but I guess what caused this line of thinking was how both groups, Purifiers and Paladins, have their own seperate quarters and traditions, and it has been shown that both groups operate piecemeal through the chapter, but the Purifiers obviously have their own champion, so I was suddenly very curious as to whether the big termies had a big guy of their own. It strikes me as supremely cool, but, obviously, there will be other sides to the idea. I was/am simply looking for anybody else's thoughts.
