Son of Rawl
An extremely good read, the battle against Angron was brilliantly written it really captured the essence of 'Our mission Comes First' as they ignore those fallen behind as they charged Angron. Even his bodyguard of the greatest Blood Thirsters are condisered minor threats to the Daemon Primarch, was really edge on my seat reading that entire part, awesome work ADB. Perrin
This book was so good I didn't want to finish it. One of the best things I found about the book was Hyperion interacting with the Inquisitors squad (something ADB always does great, SP talking to humans). Even though they were essentially secondary characters they had a lot of depth about them, they are probably the first secondary characters that I've read about that I've thought Wow I would love to read a series just about their adventures, the Adventures of Annika Jarlsdottyr (obviously not that, that's an horrendous title). Not that my opinion matters but 10/10 anyway :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/251584-emperors-gift-review/page/3/#findComment-3073611 Share on other sites
