DW command wound allocation

I think I screwed up on allocation. (haven't played in 5 months)

 

Okay my sqd was 5 with Belial and Termie Libby, 2 TH/SS, 2SB, 1 cf, and 1 pf, 1 ass cannon.

 

So I get 3 wounds from 4 lascannon shots. I put all on TH/SS guys but now I'm thinking even though all were slightly armed different I did it wrong. Could someone clarify? I did the search here and didn't find anything dealing with DW. Thanks guys.

You did it wrong. At least I think from the description.

 

Was the Squad;

 

Belial

TDA Librarian

TH/SS TDA

TH/SS TDA

SB/PF TDA

SB/CF TDA

ACannon/PF TDA

 

If it was, everyone bar the two TH/SS terminators are thier own wound groups for allocation.

 

You could have placed the first two Lascannon wounds on them, but then you would have needed to allocate the last Lascannon wound elsewhere.

 

Unless the Unit took other wounding hits from the same shooting attack. In which case, another 5 wounding hits from other weapons would have allowed you to 'wrap' the last Lascannon wound back onto the two TH/SS termies.

Ya it was just that 1 round that I put all on the TH/SS. All the other times he shot more than just lascannons. Thnx for reply.

GML has answered the question well, but tbh i think this was your problem.. DW dont have thier own set of rules for wound allocation, its universal to all armies.

we do have a stickied thread on wound allocation IIRC
