Myxx
very nice work. The mix of armor marks, the combi-weapons, the attention to detail on squad and rank markings. Excellent! Captain Semper
Very impressive stuff! the free hand work especially! Mixed armour marks also give an very "realistic" look to the force! InquisitorHayn
The red-helmed and cyber-faced sergeants are the very image of cool. Great work all around. Very detailed and well thought out work, mate. Schultzhoffen
Thanks, guys. The kind words are much appreciated. I find that I have a fairly "impressionistic" painting style and just can't do the super neat, clean look. KJB
Very nicely done, nice mix of armour marks and really well painted  You using the new paints? Or the old colours?  Oh, and what's your blue recipe? :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/252293-ultramarines/#findComment-3060407 Share on other sites
Schultzhoffen
@keith -thanks. Â I'm using the old colours (still have plenty but the army is pretty much done -10 years of slowly putting them together). Â Black undercoat - Regal Blue, badab wash, 70/30 Regal Blue/Ultramarine blue, Space Wolves Grey Highlights. Rogan
First of all, I really like it when people incorporate different armour types into their army. Really makes the army stand out! Second, your painting style is very cool... it has, of course, its edges here and there, but mine has, too. Well done, brother! And great to see Limited Editions, too!
