Its been too long since I last checked this plog and once again I am stunned by the amount of sheer coolness I see going on. First off Eisenhorn... You are right you have nailed him. All the details bang on like the thin blade of his powersword and the leg braces. The 2 female inquisitors are amazing, using the vampire from mordheim is a master stroke. All the other characters are top notch too.

The terrain is immense I would love to see it all laid out together.

Great stuff as always

I will have a special terrain presentation soon.

Eisenhorn will get even better soon, just found out Kromlech makes Power Katanas

And they are on the way.

Some more work on Zephro Carnelian the Troupe Master

If I really did him right I would of sourced one of those Napoleon Hats,But I hat the tophat handy so...

I already did Lexandro as the Huge FW model but There is no reason not to a PA Lex a no brainer but I like the challenge you place before me.

If I only did not hve 13 more Mortalis tiles to whip up

Speaking of tiles today the stars were aligned for me to get some real work done on the final Realm of Battle Theme tile.

I had Craters,Wrecks,Forrest, the only thing missing was the Water Tile.

I picked up two Magic Water recessed ponds from my local Train Hobby shop.

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc52/Esinhorn/010-59.jpg

Using the templates provided I carefully cut out the pond shapes out of the board, even burning out a dremmel to do it.

Then I notice I traced one of the God D%# templates backward.

So after trail and error and some creative use of plasticard off cuts I had both ponds inserted into the board.

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc52/Esinhorn/009-65.jpg

I glued some plasticard sheet on the underside of the ponds to better protect them.

I think I am going to buy a for sale sign and cover the whole bottom.

Then using a mixture of Celuclay and Ultracal I made a paste that I coated the board with afterward I applied medium and fine ballast and pressed in with my hand.

Once this is dry I then spray with 2-3 coats of watered down PVA glue

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc52/Esinhorn/016-30.jpg

Now to 40k it

I chopped this chim in half at an angle and modeled it as a wreck

This will sit in the middle of a pond

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc52/Esinhorn/018-20.jpg

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc52/Esinhorn/017-25.jpg

The board is ready to be primed

I have the pond wreck primed and will paint up tomarrow

I already have the plan of attack in my head it should go quick

Basecoat Rust tones, heavy measking fluid, rust streaks, for the wreck

Earth tone with Dark Black Green pond bottoms, then I add the water.

Need to raid a whisk broom at work for some reeds.

I also cast up another couple of dead tree halves to liven up the ground work and tie it in with the forrest tile.

Never one to be idle I finished my fourth Mortalis tile.

Yep another T-Tile,wheat the heck is with the doubles?

That is just how they are packaged.

This is the first tile I used cutout inlays.

I used tinfoil to get the shape of the opening, then I cut that out and used as a template, worked like a dream.

The door fit very well, you can use one large or two small door on the U-tile
