Fluff joint efforts SW and GK

If you read the story about the First War for Armageddon in the space wolves codex it says something like the the space wolves and the grey knights sharing a warriors handshake before the grey knights teleport away. As i understand it, i think they are good terms with the grey knights, and i think it is mutual, since it was logan grimnar who contacted them much earlier then they would have regularly been in regards to the chaos invasion.

I think the Space wolves just don't like the inquisition, and would, and do, fight along side the grey knights when the occasion arises.

The book "The Emperor's Gift" by Aaron Demski Bowden. Awesome read and great stuff.

No offence meant mate - but please put it into spoilers, as it's a fairly new book and not everyone has read it.

Put what into spoliers? All he said was that the book contained joint operations, thats not a spoiler, its the premise of the book.

about the Wolves destroying a GK ship and Grimmy slicing up a Capt. of theirs - but anyway, to the OP there don't seem to be many instances (recorded) of us working with them barring for the Armageddon Conflict, although I'm sure there would be many others, just not in quite the same fashion.
GK are nothing but a tool of the Inquisition.

Plus, I think the two chapters aren't fond of each other now that GK destroyed a SW ship and that Grimnar killed one of their commanders.

I guess this new fluff just throws anything previous to this out then.

Either Logan Grimnar is on good terms with someone in the inquisition that has some sway over where the Grey knights are deployed, but is still not on good terms with the Grey Knights themselves(which i guess either contradicts or explains why is was only a warriors handshake after the fight), or there has been a serious change in management in regards to who deploys the Grey Knights where.

Either way, Grimnar at least WAS on good terms with someone involved in the Grey Knights operations, and these more recent events could just been an isolated incident between 2 disagreeing factions, or more likely the Grey Knights were ordered to destroy a ship or whatever happens in the book (haven't read it), because they are, as mentioned, just a tool of the inquisition, and Gimnar retaliated, since he doesn't take it from anyone. So, yeah, its possible the relationship has been ruined, but if so, it has only happened recently.

Well he was better terms with the fenrisian inquisitor she could have deployed the GK

Also he trusted GK more than the big I

LG says repeatly about the honour of the GK just being soldiers and not liking what they have been told to do Months of Shame conflict. This is also shown from the GK side
