A Space Wolves log - Hellfoot

Hey guys!

So first of all I would like to say that I'm new to 40k. I decided to start a space wolves army to start 40k in the upcoming 6th edition release!

So...I started by converting 2 priests. I decided to start with the priest because I was separating the bits and I was thinking why not start by making some cheap HQ choices?

The minis:

Priest 1

Priest 2

Started painting priest one

I'm still new to the transfers!! Thought they would be easier to handle haha

Cheers

I've been painting for 12 years now, and I still haven't worked out transfers. They only go on tanks for me, and most of the time not even then.

Your painting looks very good, as does your converting. I particularly like the second priest's pose. Looks like he'd not bother chasing you down, but would rip your throat out the second you got too close. A nice counter to the other guys more active and classical 40K "I have a sword" pose.

I really like the eyes on the Rune Priest you've painted and he really does look like he's summoning a storm to smite his foes. The second one has a weight about his pose which I like. :tu:

Looking forward to seeing more.

I think I'm gonna re-do the sword cause the glowing effect didn't come out as I hoped.
