Aegnor Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I'm a big fan of a lot of the stuff BL put out and frankly think the snobbery associated with judging a book on the basis that it is "genre/tie in fiction" is quite unfair. Yes, there are often novel tie ins for games (actual or video-) that aren't great. But there are also some great books written in genre/tie in series. The HH series consistently sell well enough to get onto the overall best sellers charts - you don't do that solely by selling to indiscriminate fanboys who will buy anything with GW slapped on it - there has to be quality product there as well. Gets back to Shakespeare - praise (or bash) no wine untasted, no maid unbedded, and no book unread. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
