frenchydrums
So I am working on my finecast Astorath fig. My problem is his axe handle is super flimsy and I'm afraid that when I paint it the paint will crack or worse, it will break off. Has anyone tried pinning the handle? I really don't want to swap the axe because I like the look of it. any suggestions? Tellos05
Ive had the same problem which is a shame coz it was a great cast. I dont actualy kno how to deal with this unfortunately. Maybe try making a mold of the axe then recast it in greenstuff or something. Grotsmasha
While flimsy, the paint will be fine, unless you drop it or play with it, pick him up by it. Left to its own devices, Asteroth won't start waving the axe about ^_^ Cheers, Jono Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/252821-astoraths-flimsy-finecast-axe-handle/#findComment-3067823 Share on other sites

Rybnick
My finecast Astorath's axe broke during painting, I've yet to fix it but I'll probably end up using green stuff because I think the piece's are too small for a pin.
