Wolf Lord Erik Morkai load out?

What are we thinking for this fellas load out then people?

 

Was contemplating using him as a proxy for ragnar if that effects things ( still learning to play)

stats wise ragnar rocks!his rules actually are those befitting any generic lord if you ask me (besides the dodge rule maybe) since each of them is a monster in close combat, inspiring the members of his great company to more furious assaults

I'd suggest a very long knife held backwards in one hand, and a long axe in tuther - then a silnced bolter strapped across his back :P

Whatever you want him to have. I do like the idea of double knives, Boss Snikrot style.

i do like, the double knives idea, so much so in fact if started now just need to work out how, to make a silenced bolter and a strap

silenced bolter, get some 0.5mm plastic/brass tube (for the silencer piece), a normal bolter and I suggest using either GS or thin brass/copper length (flat) put them together and vwallah :D

 

some of the models do have bolters with straps at which point just clip them off, extend it as needed and re-glue after fitting it to the model :)

Bolter usually maglock onto the armor. So just pick a space on the backpack and glue it on.

I run Morkai three different ways in my army.

 

1. For lower point games or when I want to field a lot of troops: Runic armor, frost weapon, bolt pistol (maybe belt of russ).

 

2. Runs onto the field atop Shadowfang with runic armor, frost weapon, and storm shield.

 

3. Ragnar Blackmane "count as" for those high point games. I can say with a squad of Grey Hunters that have a standard, +d3 attacks on a charge along with furious charge is amazing.
