15mm Blood Angels project

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, have been kept busy with real life for the past 2 weeks, so no real progress with the 15mm Blood Angels, however I have picked up some Eureka 25mm NSL power armour suits for conversion to 15mm Blood Angel terminators, these will undergo heavy conversion, I will cut off the shoulder armour attached to the body and the face visor, square off the top of the torso, add vents to the rear of the torso, add shoulder armor, add eagle to the chest, add helmets, add a storm bolter, and rounded knee armour, add other detail and doodads, I have 10 of these to convert, there will be 3 with Hammer and shield, 2 with lightening claws, 3 with storm bolters, 1 with a chain gun or heavy flamer, and a squad leader with storm bolter and power sword, might also add a chain fist or 2 in there.

Hi guys, just a quick update to show the difference in shape to the Torso, with a little work, I think they are going to turn out to be very acceptable 15mm Terminators, (these are still very much WIP) what do you thinks?

Hi guys, this unit shows the first signs of impatience in the 15mm Blood Angels project, I decided to make 4 scout snipers, 5 shot guns and a leader, the 4 snipers were going to be in ghilli suits, but I got impatient and only finished 2, the other 2 I just added camo to the sniper rifles, I will also distinguish them with face paint, the pants will be a grey urban camo pattern, what do you think?

Hey guy, really awesome mini's! My dad is a 15mm collector so I can really understand the gravity of what your doing compared to messing around at the 28mm size. The level of detail your able to achieve is really impressive. Looking forward to seeing the scouts finished up with the camo and blood drops. Keep it up!  (First Post on B&C)

Hi guys, my first scout squad finished, 4 snipers, 5 shotguns and 1 bolter, I will be doing another squad, all with bolters, as well as a couple of heavy bolters, I will be upgrading the rest of my BA force with bases the same as this, it covers up the figs stands and looks nice, check my blog for more pictures, all comments welcome.

Hi guys, working on some allies for my 40k Imperial forces, or for 15mm Inquisitor, the Inquisitor is a converted Khurasan Puritan power armour, the scions are converted Khurasan SEALs, and PNEH Cyborg agents, with the big guy from Khurasans DPLS flight crew, and a couple of converted space demons as bio engineered combat units, I am thinking gold and red for the Inquisitor, and red and black for the scions, thoughts.

Hi guys

An update on my 15mm Blood Angels, making a paper dred, firstly I decided to re print the model at 70% rather than 60%, only because my 15mm Blood Angels are very large so I wanted my dred to fit in, most people would be happy with 60% I believe,

I decided to use superglue rather than white glue, it would have been to slow to dry, the superglue worked well, I just had to be careful of my fingers with such a small model, the model is coming along nicely, but it is a rather slow process, this is about 3-4 hours work, done whilst watching TV, although it looks quite detailed, all the detail is in print and will be lost when painted, so I will have to 3D the detail with plasticard rod etc, I'm pretty happy with the results so far, it is a lot sturdier then I thought it would be, let me know what you think.

Hi guys

I have done a bit more work on this today, I chose dual chain guns, mostly because it meant I didn't have to make the fist, which looked a bit fiddly, I think he is coming along nicely, will let the putty dry that is holding the chain guns on, then I will start on detailing the exterior, a pic for scale with a normal size Chaos marine and a 15mm marine and Termie, all comments welcome.

It all looks great, my friend. It's really apparent how much better you are getting at crafting the models as each squad comes together. Those scouts, I really like your take on the cloaks, are especially well done IMO. The terminators look a little stiff, but I think that's inevitable considering the size drop and the fact that they always seem somewhat stiff.

Hi guys

The 15mm Blood Angel Contemptor Dred with the base coat, still needs a lot of work, but you get a good enough idea that this trial has worked, I will be doing a lot more paper models for my 15mm forces moving forward, a pretty good looking model for zero cost.
