My Interpretation on Erik Morkai

Recommended Posts

This is a Painting in progress model, just wanted to share, as many of my fine brothers of the fang made suggestions.

I opted to leave the bolter off in exchange for a holstered pistol, therefore being a bit close to WYSIWYG as a counts as ragnar.

Any way enough waffle and more pictures you shout!!

( 10 internets to who can guess the donor model)

ill admit that i was daunted by the prospect of greenstuff but its easy as heck,

be bold and give it a try. I turned out i had to do it to cover up the donor model ( that no one has guessed)

Cheers valerian its given him the look i was after

best i can do is tell you how i did it.

Tips wise,

Mix the green stuff well as best you can as long as you can.

Keep the GS, your hands and your tools wet

Avoid finger prints.

for the fur collar type thing

Roll a sausage of GS and lay in in place ( ideally it will be long enough for you wrap round the front if not make 2 smaller to drape down) or add more as you see it if you wish to cover shoulder backpack etc

Smooth the joins so its all smooth and like on piece.

Take a sharp xacto blade for you americans, or hobby knife ( i also used a small piece of 1mm wires for variety)

Push it in to the gs, then flick out and up

(i worked quite fast, so i could go back and move the clumps in different directions etc)

For the loin part i made a triangle ( make it flat and slightly thicker than you think you need unless you want holes!)

same up and out flicking as before.

and there we have it.

If you have a go please post pics so i can see

cheers
