Storm Talon conversion WIP

After seeing the other conversions of Storm Talon gunships on here mine is not nearly as impressive (redscorps for example!) but I figured I'd post up my attempt nonetheless.

 

I saw the photoshopped image of the ST where the pods and assault cannon had been brought closer to the hull and thought I'd try to mirror that. I'm not the best at conversions and I'll freely admit that I'm quite lazy or rather hasty and just want to get the job done so it's a little bit messy at the moment and I will neaten up all the gaps etc. using filler or greenstuff.

 

But basically all I did was trim down the stalks on which the missile pods are mounted and I removed a lot of the pivot system that the assault cannon was mounted on. The pods are a little messy because I tried to magnetize them to use all the options but it was too difficult so I gave up and went with the Skyhammer option.

Anyway that's all I did...nothing special really but I do like how it looks more streamlined. Oh and yeah that is my blood on the landing skid...the knife slipped :S haha

 

edit: realized I'd stupidly put the damn tail on backwards so quickly fixed it! No harm done :P

Does it sit okay on the tail undercarriage and the (bloodstained) nose-pad?

Thanks! Yeah it does sit pretty good on the skids...maybe a tad pitched forward but not too bad.
