mysteriousmaskedmystery Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 i like the highlights a lot myself, and think they must look great on the table, as the stark highlights are easier and quicker to do across an entire army and they will still pop from a distance. that being said, if you want to reduce the contrast, you might try dry brushing a darker version of the highlight before doing the final edge high lights, it will give just a hint of blending to reduce the stark change from one color to another. but again, i like them the way they are.
