[Knights of the Emperor]

Just a small Grey Knights army for some casual games - things like apocalypse take too long for me.

This is just the basic army list:

Captain w/ Terminator command squad- HQ

Terminator Squad - Elite

GK purifiers - Troop

GK squad (not decided type, but they basically look the same except load outs, I can decide later) - Troop

Deathwatch killteam. Dunno if these are technically usable with GK, but mate's rules not Games Day - Troop

Venerable Dread

Possibly a standard Dread if I can find it.

This is being ran side-by-side with my truescaling project so I don't know how much will be devoted to this.

Below are my first few models, some WIPs will be added in the next couple of days.

Grey Knight Terminator, Warding stave. Pretty chuffed with the face and freehands, first model since my return to painting.

Like the rest that you'll see today, they just need basing then they're done - need to work out what to base with still.

Grey Knight Purifier, Sergeant/justicar, w/e you want to call him.

Second purifier. Had to give him a bare head because the helm wouldn't fit on -.- I got all the arm combinations mixed up and had already painted these up by the time I got to assembly. FAIL.

First Deathwatch member. Ultramarine, with the sexy bolter and helmet from the upgrade kit. This one is kind of based, gravel and blood stains up his legs - he's been a busy boy ;O

As always C&C till your heart's content. It only makes me better :D

Just a few quick WIPs, would whack a few more up but I'm strapped for time and am off out in a sec so you'll have to make do with these - not excellent quality - but the finished paintjobs/conversions will be (these have no conversions btw ;p)

Grey Knight, pretty much finished barring head + base, the reverse of the banner and the reverse of another Grey Knight.

Same two Grey Knights & a Terminator, only got the base coat and a tiny bit of detail down on this guy, the sword in the foreground is finished, the banner is not by any stretch of the imagination.

Should finish the two Grey knights tonight for sure, the Terminator, maybe.

Some WIPs of the second member of my deathwatch team, going to be a Dark Angel captain I believe, if the GS works properly.

This is the beginnings of his robes - need to add a belt around the wist, get more green stuff on his right leg and add the hood. If there are any suggestions to make this better please offer them as I'm still very much a novice in the green stuff arena!

The front of his head - to be hooded.

And the side of his head. The image has shown some glaring mistakes on this too, so I'm going to have to majorly touch this up ;)

On the weapon front, I got one of those pointing power fists (I believe from the commander sprue, but can't remember) and chopped it, turned it over. He'll be beckoning, like that scene in the Matrix.
