Urauloth
Interesting way of magnetizing weapon arms, I hadn't thought of doing it that way. edit; actually, howdid you do that? How did you ensure that the arms holding the flamer lined up properly? Did you attatch the weapon to the hands first, or magnetize the arms first? ARBAL
Interesting way of magnetizing weapon arms, I hadn't thought of doing it that way. edit; actually, howdid you do that? How did you ensure that the arms holding the flamer lined up properly? Did you attatch the weapon to the hands first, or magnetize the arms first? 1. attatch weapon to the hand 2. magnetize the torso 3. magnetize arms in proper position this requires a little practice and testing, but it's all done by instinct, I'm not able to give you the recipe: ( The last part of the article, I invite you to read and I look forward to any comments on the blog: How to paint Space Marines Tactical Squad? Zeller
Damn Arbal, those are some really great looking Ultramarines. So basically after painting the blue you lightly drybrushed the armor to create a weathered effect on the raised areas? franzdietrich
Your painting style is very unique! I looked at them and could have sworn they were 3D models for a CGI Warhammer game. Very cartoony looking, and I love it! Great tutorial as well. Urauloth
Ultramarines Rhino for this tactical squad http://coloureddust.blogspot.com/2012/07/u...ines-rhino.html I missed this somehow, only just saw it. That's brilliant work - how'd you get the hull so smooth without using an airbrush? I'd never have guessed it was done with a brush. Oh and cheers for the review of Micro Art Studio bases, I've been thinking about ordering a few of those for display miniatures for a while, and the review convinced me to do it. They look like they're really great quality.
