MKIV Command set

Recommended Posts

This just screams conversion possibilities to me. I love the poses on both models, and having another standard bearer option is always nice.

I will be purchasing one of these!!

I'm thinking the small crest will get covered with the wolf skull triangle from the upgrade sprue, head swap him with a more suitable wolf lord head, swap his pack with the wolf head pack also from the upgrade sprue, frost axe the power sword, and dangle a few wolf tails off of his armor. If the helmet under is are is easily removed, I'll swap that out as well!!

I love the chunky look of the Maxumus armor for some reason. It might be because it looks slightly similar to traditional suits of armor form the medieval times. And the 'snout' helmets are really striking.

If this arrives in time (won't ship out intil the end of the month... :)) , I might have to ETL vow it!!

I was thinking of getting some of the brass etched bits - if you look at the new minotaurs etchings, they have them placed on those two command models and the look brilliant, so rather than remove too many things I'd put some etchings on these guys, little runes on the legs etc. ;)

they are very nice. I just hope they dont turn out like the new apothecaries. when i got them in the mail, the legs torso and head were all 1 piece, like finecast models. and even came on a similar frame from the injection mold.

but either way ill be ordering a set

I didn't think the Apoth kit was one big chunk!! I hope that this kit is not like that otherwise all of my converting will take even more time and look even worse...

Good to know however, thanks arizonajirt.

on Forge Worlds Facebook page someone asked if they came with extra bits and this is what they said about the models:

" Each model is a single-part body, separate head, left and right arms, and a separate shoulder pad (the cloak of each is attached to the relevant arm)"
