Head Sprues of varying types

Recommended Posts

Okay, so I like to customise my chaps to the end of the earth, trying to put parts on them that arent found in any GW box.

What I have in mind at the moment is two types of heads for a couple units.

For my scouts im looking for heads that look similar to the current US/UK kevlar helmets with the googles A la Reaper Miniatures

The other is the androgenous anonymous mask made famous by the Jabbawockeez, I spose its similar to the death mask of the sanguinary guard, but i want mine to be completley expressionless. That would be just that little bit more terrifying than screaming avenging angels...

Anywho, anyone know where I could find any such sprues or models of which I could make molds of?

I haven't tried those particular ones yet, but their weapons are a little small against GW. However, as GW make their weapons oversized rather than realistic anyway, that should not put you off.

However, as they are helmets only, I am sure that it shouldn't be too difficult to get them to fit on scout heads with a little work.

Apologies for reviving a somewhat dead post, but I thought this would be preferable to starting an entire new thread.

I am also in the market for IG scaled heads for my warrior acolytes... BUT i'm having terrible luck finding the exact one I need... which is a ROBED head.

I have been advised that I can find a robed head in the wood elf glade guard pack, but I think you only get 2 or so... And I need 40!

So if anyone can help me out in regards to finding a robed HUMAN IG-sized head i would be extremely thankful!

Also, Pig Iron Kolony robed heads are out of the question, as the faces arent even human. They would be gơod for a mechanicus force though.

N.B I'm going for a warrior-scholar lơok for my acolytes, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks in advance!

Whoever said Glade Guard has the right idea. They are ideally sized, and you get one robed head and one bare head for each Glade Guard - substantially more than 2! This means that each box gives a full set of Guard, and a full set of spare heads. See this thread on DakkaDakka for some pictures.

You might like to try a little more patience next time; less than a day before you start 'bumping' is not great.
