Hey guys, just thought I'd throw my daily progress into a log. All C&C is welcome, I know the pictures aren't superhot...iPhone pics only do so much.

The Vow

Sanguinary Priest with jump pack - In progress, needs based

10-man JP Assault Squad with PF/2x flamer - Basecoated and washed, in progress

5-man JP Assault Squad with a meltagun - Basecoated and washed, in progress

5 Death Company with 2x power weapons, a thunder hammer, and jump packs - Basecoated and washed, in progress

Razorback with TLHF for my tactical squad - Nearly complete, detailing/touchups needed

Baal Predator with TLAC/HB sponsons - Chassis basecoated, sponsons/turret still bare. Need more magnets

Goal for today - Prime the assault squads and DC, finish assembly of the Baal Pred, potentially finish the Razorback tonight

Glory, brothers.

It's been a couple weeks, slow progress has been made

All infantry primed and basecoated, have started doing the detail work. Camera flash washes it out, but the purple layer has had a coat of Leviathan Purple wash applied as well. Progress with resume when I pick up a pot of black wash this weekend

Both tanks have been basecoated as well, although the Baal still remains half built. The Razorback has it's first layer basecoat down. I forgot how much I hated painting tanks by hand.

"Any progress is good progress, you take what you can get!" You know the song? :o

Looking fine. Pictures in daylight, without flash might be easier.

I'm getting myself a cheap airbrush for vehicles and basecoating. ;)

The work continues, brothers! Infantry has all been washed, just have whites, highlights, and finishing touches to add

Tanks are coming along nicely, as well. Got really going while watching an episode of Psych yesterday, and the Razorback is nearly complete, just some minor cleanup to do. The Baal has it's bases laid down on the chassis, turret and sponsons are still nearly bare

Hoping to have the infantry complete within a week, and the tanks completed the week after that. Then if possible, I'll begin a 2nd vow

Well, I'm a failure.

While it does clearly state that ETL ends at 2200 GMT, I read 2400 GMT. All that I have remaining is the jump packs for the infantry, but that's neither here nor there.

For completion's sake, here's the pictures I hadn't yet uploaded

This morning; no shoulderpads, no jump packs, power weapons unpainted, Baal still needs finishing

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v163/RareFaction/Vow/IMG_1294.jpg

Completion as of 5p central (2200 GMT) - everything complete except for their jump packs. So close.

So close and yet so far away. They look good I like the contrast with the white shoulderplates. Very crisp and precise. I like it. :)

Please finish them shortly and take a picture or two. When Captain Sempers final report comes we'll find someplace to strut our stuff. All of it.

Good stuff here, Witty.

Thanks for the kind words, work has gotten in the way of finishing these guys. Hopefully will have them done next weekend when my wife is out of town. Once I've done so I'll try and get a shot of the whole force

Very nice -- and a very similar paint scheme to what I'm planning for my own BA successor chapter. Do you mind if I ask what paint you used for the purple?

It's quite easy, 2 thin coats of Liche Purple followed by a wash of Leviathan Purple. I've still got a couple pots of each, so I'm not sure what the names of the current paints are
