Midnightmare
Quick question; does a Dread have to disembark from the rear (ie where the magna/winch is) or can he be placed anywhere within 2" of the Ravens base? Cheers
dswanick
Do you own the Codex? The Codex is your friend. For the purposes of claiming/contesting objectives and embarking/disembarking from a Stormraven, measure to and from its base.
Midnightmare
Ha ha just unsure if it had to be from the back as it doesn't say!
DominicJ
2" from the access point, is where models disembark. The Dreadie access point is the rear, therefore, the dreadie disambarks within two inches of the rear

Drunken Angel
And of course you can always pivot the Raven 90 degrees on its movement phase if that helps.

"For the purposes of"..."disembarking from a Stormraven"..."measure"..."from its base"...full stop. No mention of access points, and no need to use a particular portion of the base. The front is as valid as the back.
