yes, you are right with translation. But even then it's not quiet accurate because the construct is not used in english I think. The Dead be honoured or something comes closer, but even then it wouldn't be the direct translation it should be

Transliteration can often be difficult, and is quite often a bad idea, it can lead to unwieldy/clunky sentences or in some cases just plain nonsense. From what I know of German there are a number of words that sum up quite complex concepts and can be quite difficult to translate succinctly, in a similar manner to some Japanese words/phrases.

Perhaps 'The Honoured Dead' might be better?

All of which is Off Topic though.

Based on the cover it looks like it involves one of the Titan Legions, although I can't place the motto 'Bellum justum' (Just War) to workout which one.

The Dead Shall be Honoured may be even closer

I'm german speaking native, but unfortunately my english is school learned so I never had the chance to get into old books or shakespear to explore "old" language or whatever term is used for this language ;)

Its not ye olde English, its just not the vernacular (everyday English). Its already been said, but it can be fiddly translating even simple stuff sometimes - in this case it all depends on the verb. Is it future/present/past, active or passive and so on.

It could be 'To honour the dead", 'Honour the dead", "The honoured dead' "The dead will be honoured' etc etc etc
