The style and the cleanliness of your painting, particularly on the vets helmets, and freehand words is what I hope to achieve one day. very very nice. They're quite old school in some ways with veteran sergeants in bone and different coloured helmets. I like them a lot. Are you using GW, Vallejo or other paints? Unforgiven2544 Posted June 14, 2012 Author Share Posted June 14, 2012 I have some disciples of Caliban that are waiting the final touches (Chapter, Company, and Squad Badges) And I am planning on building up a unit or two of Consecrators and Angels of Vengeance. I plan on having the vehicle support like predators and such painted in such a manner as they can believably be a part of either chapter on the tabletop. Primarily Black with Red paneling. But, mostly more Dark Angels. I have the 2 assault squads left for 3rd company sitting as bare plasic right now, so it might be a while before they are finished. Nice Vsgt and DW brother, somewhere i got the bits for some DW as well...i personally like your Vsgt alot for composing the model, besides the paint! My friend here just said "OMG whats with DA players and their uber-expensive plasma-combination for 40 pts i get 2,6 marines!"...i just say where i got my Blades of Reason and the key to my Interrogation Chamber? I don't know if I'll show the pictures here, or in the other subforums. I wasnt sure if the Deathwatch marine was going to turn out as well as it did. I thought that the grenades might have been a bit much. But now... he is definitely looking kinda badass. If I do say so myself. Hopefully, I will have some pictures of my ETL Deathwing within the next week. I might add a unit of scouts as a secondary Vow... We'll see how real life interacts with my plans. Now I noticed the Consecrators badge on the sergeants shoulder shield... What's the story there? Congrats for completing your vow - the table is updated! Also, although it'll be great if you were to vow again, please do so only if you're confident that you'll pull it through. Otherwise you risk nulifying this completion as well.
