Zackya7x
Hey, guys. It's me again. I have a couple of questions. I know it's quite long but please bear with me. First of all, whenever I base my model with The Fang, there's a 50/50 chance that it will be too thick and uneven no matter how consistent I apply and thin them with water. And after (let's say I get it right) base coating it, every time I apply the thinned second layer of Russ Grey, it ruins the whole model. By ruin, I mean it covers the important detail. I've thinned it enough to have a milky consistency, but when I apply it, it seems uneven and thick. Brush strokes are there, too. I've searched for tips online but there are no right answers. And also, when I apply the wash and let it dry for an hour, it seems dusty and leaves the model 40% black. I know apply the wash generously. But it seems that it dries up and leaves patches of black wash. I don't know what to do... Help and tips? By the way, I've seen almost all the videos on how to paint Space Wolves on Youtube but I can't seem to get the first 4 steps correctly. Sorry for the long message! Brother Nihm
every time I apply the thinned second layer of Russ Grey, it ruins the whole model. By ruin, I mean it covers the important detail. It sounds to me like you are loading your brush with too much paint.Try and wipe the brush on a piece of paper gently, and just once to begin with. You should soon find the right amount, meaning the amount that works best for you.
