Interrogator-Chaplain Ezra
nope. the dies irae dies in a grand siege against a loyalist fortress. I do believe its in the first book of the iron warriors.. (either that or the first book about the wordbearers? some big siege anyway) It doesn't, but please post spoilers to books blacked out, so it doesn't ruin turn of events like that for everyone. No, the Dies Irae does die at Hydra Cordatus in Storm of Iron. It's reactor goes nuclear and everything. I actually cannot think of an Imperator that has lived beyond one novel. Except the Dies Irae because it had a Heresy spotlight in False Gods and Galaxy in Flames. Just because I can be really geeky about the subject, and because I'm also a huge BattleTech fan, Titans. They use fission reactors, right? Seeing as they Stackpole, I mean. yhta
is more the worff efect: show the imperator like something big a dangerous and then kill then. is a way to put tension in a history or make things more awsome. just look the avatars and Bloodthirsters. when they show they are defeat it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254200-traitors-got-all-the-imperator-titans/page/3/#findComment-3188323 Share on other sites

Don't get me wrong. The Worf Effect is a good storytelling device when used to heighten tension and drama, but some writers overdo it. Sadly, those who overdo it seem to always end up writing codecies for GW. Or at least the fluff. spu00sed
I can remember a few Imperator Titans from BL Dies Irae: appears in a few HH novels and storm of iron where it dies Aquilia Ignis: appears in mechanius where it dies Augmenautus Rex: in Titanicus where it dies name not remebered: from the first word bearers novel where it dies name not remebered: from Helsreach where it dies Turns out it is a bad thing to be an Imperator Titan in any BL novel, they have shorter lives than Avatars of Khaine Grrrrrrrrrreat. Thank you very much. All of them Traitors I suppose. Besides Helsreach as it was a battle against Orks.... I only know the fate of the first two, can you describe how the others died? The other two had cool and plausible deaths I think Sorry it took me so long Dies Irae: Traitor Aquilia Ignis: Traitor Augmenautus Rex: Traitor name not remebered: Imperial name not remebered: Imperial ADB. Dies Irae is an intersting case. It dies on its first book, but then later books look into its history so it then survives a book, since it has already been shown to die later Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254200-traitors-got-all-the-imperator-titans/page/3/#findComment-3189004 Share on other sites
