Inquisitor Coteaz Conversion (WIP)

Recommended Posts

Since I've been working hard the past few months on my Purifier army I decided to try something else.

Because all of my army is heavily converted to make it stand out from the rest. I've decided to stick the first one I did painted and converted on eBay and work on another Coteaz but this time with my own personal touch.

New conversion

The Thunder hammer is bugging me and I wanna do something with it but not sure where to start tbh.

What do you guys think?

I much prefer that second conversion (despite the BA parts - personal bias), it's got a much more customised feel to it. Plus I love what you've done with the cherub. By the Skull Throne, those things are creepy.

Od.

Thank you and yeah I must agree, when I put the new old beside the old one it looked way better. I always make my HQ's stand out and stick them on larger bases. The cherub was just something I found in one of my bit'z boxes after I used the Empire Generals banner for my Deathwing Standard.

Right I've did a little more work on him and I think he's finished conversion wise. I added the DA banner from the RW box and redid the hammer. I also gave him the Chaos Lord cloak as it suited him better than the GS one. Just got Liquid GS'ing to do and he's ready for paint.

His new front tabard looks off: he's running to his right but the cloak is flowing in the same direction. Instead, the cloak should be flowing opposite, to his left. At least, that's what it looks like from this angle ^_^

I agree with Volgon about the tabard and cloak.

Also, the Scibor shoulder pad looks pretty ridiculous on a non-termie(I think they still look ridiculous on termies, but I digress) and think you can be better served with a normal power armor shoulder pad.
