Zeuspro
I purchased a Inquisitor scale Space marine a couple of years ago and its getting close to the top of my painting list now. My concern is however that the large pannels of block colour are going to look very plain and dull on a model this size. Has anyone painted this model? how did you find it? Im planning to paint it either as Ultramarines or Black templars, although probably the first as a mainly black model that size could look like ive just undercoated. heres the model http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1110218 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254237-inquisitor-scale-marine/ Share on other sites
Renoster
Zeus, I stuck with Death Watch and found this model a joy to paint. The size allows you to really get at the detail, especially the recesses that add depth and contour to the large black panels. I used a chaos black mixed with bolt gun metal and then a very light edging of bolt gun. The only issues i had was gluing the thing together. Pinning is a must as it has some serious mass. Here's some photos of mine. I'm still to attach utility pouches and combat knife and finish of some fine details such as rivets and gems. Oh and the decals are coming off. Fail.
