MSpiel Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 A runepriest instead of a wolf priest my be more effective in this case, especially since the leaked new rules for runepriests: "Space Wolves A rune priest including Njal can use the rulebook powers instead of codex ones. Generate 2 new powers from biomancy, divination or telekinesis " Some of the rumored powers include 4+ invulnerable within 12", ap reduced to 6 within 12", etc. lots of close range stuff that seem tasty on a jump pack equipped rune priest. Wolf Guard Dan Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 I10 is cool. What is more cool is it gives us another option to strike at far distances with the move and charge range they will have. Up to this point I rely on my long fangs to condense the battle field. Fen wolves just are not armored enough and I dont have TWC. So I will be less reliant on my long fangs now which is nice. And I bet jump pack troops can hit fliers more easily that other assault/shooty troops. I cant wait for the rulebook to see what all my stuff can do and what new roles will open.
