Torvak Kyre
Hello Brothers, I have recently started a daemon army fro Fantasy. Now I know this is a power armour, mechanicum and 40k daemon forum but I figured that since the only difference are the bases and I haven't even done it on this model it will be fine. If I am wrong I m sorry and Mods please delete this topic. Anyway, I have decided to go for a darker red then normal because i don't really like bright red bloodletters running about. So here is the test model And the sword My whole army will be inspired by this topic on Warseer Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254597-bloodletter/ Share on other sites
Durus
You could do something like this to play them in both fantasy and 40k. For the model itself, i'd say it needs something done about the face. I think the face should always be the focus of a model, but right now it kind of gets lost next to the bright blade. You could highlight the cheekbones and eye area to the red that you used on the elbows or try to add a OSL effect around the eyes to brighten it a bit. Either way, I really like the effect on the blade. It almost looks wet, like it was made of blood itself. Maybe you could play around with the highlights a bit to push that idea even further.
