Dark_Master
This is what happens when the rulebook isn't out for all and speculation is rampant. ^_^ Some of us have had it for 2 days...and we're still trying to figure out some stuff (just wait until you see wound allocation in the shooting phase...nightmare). IMO, the ravenwing is easy. Does the codex say we have scout? Don't remember TBH, but it does, end discussion: we have scout. If we don't, jinx, relentless and hammer of wrath. The current (very old) codex states bikes and attack bikes have fearless, scouts and combat squads. Case closed? (until new codex) DM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254600-jink-appears-to-be-in-6th-ed/page/3/#findComment-3100123 Share on other sites
Ronin_eX
Hmm, I will be interested to see how bikes fair in the new codex. Between jJink and Hammer of Wrath they seem to be pretty good assault platforms at this point. I wouldn't mind it if Ravenwing got skilled rider back and became a dedicated assault unit (hmm, power lances are specifically mentioned as a kind of power weapon, that would be exceedingly fun to have I'd think). A horde of bikes charging in to combat and getting an I10 S4 (maybe S5 depending on how one reads Hammer of Wrath) and two S5AP3 lance attacks would be a nice boost. And with their maneuverability they can hit a flank/rear on a unit hiding its specialists and wipe them out before they get a chance to go. That would certainly give them a unique way to play. I suppose we'll what comes about whenever our codex comes out and at the very least the update should be interesting. Pyro X
Jink is a 5+ if the bike or land speeder moves normal, 4+ if it turbo boosts. I'm not sure if we will be able to take it but if you also have skilled rider, it will increase the jink save by +1 on each. Also its not only ravenwing bikes that get this btw. its all bikes and jetbikes. Edit: and hammer of wrath is kinda cool as well. each bike ( or other thing that has this) gets 1 free attack at base model str hit at I10. so like 6 bikes charges, you get 6 STR 4 hits at I10, then finish I order. Pyro X
o and scout rule changed a little bit. everything can still scout as it used to but: -infantry, monstrous creatures / walkers, and artillery can redeploy with in 6" of its current spot, everything is 12" of its current spot. -it can't charge the 1st turn -can't desembark or embark. - must be 12" away from other player before the game starts Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254600-jink-appears-to-be-in-6th-ed/page/3/#findComment-3101149 Share on other sites

Now bikes are T5 rather than T4/5 this will be nice bonus especially for attack bikes no instant death from missiles both deathwing and ravenwing look in strong positions in 6th maybe even totally OP Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254600-jink-appears-to-be-in-6th-ed/page/3/#findComment-3101192 Share on other sites
