Death Guard Trooper Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Got 6 of a 20 man squad rolling, some of the pics aren't the best, still getting used to using someone else camera. The squad SGT has squad marking on his right shoulder pad, didn't come out well but ill get a better pic of the group once I get more done. The Heavy gunner will have to go to another squad since I just the 20 pax will be bolter pure. Death Guard Trooper Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 Thanks, ill be honest, the camera brought out more detail of things that need work than you can see just looking at the models lol. The eye lenses I plan to make/keep black, just seems to go with them in my mind. All the pics in the Heresy Book makes them dark colored almost like their helmets have hooded eyes. They have some weathering to them, hard to see in the close up pics, I am not very good at it so ill probly stick with what I got. I love the Death Guard because they are the light infantry soldiers of the time which is what I did in the Army as well. However, and just from my experience the Death Guard are known for being covered in head to toe in muck ect, I tend to disagree. Even after being in the field for weeks my equipment and uniform while not spotless the environment itself kept it relatively clean. I just don't see them that dirty unless they were actively rocking and rolling in mud and water. I tend to agree with him. It will be changed a bit. I almost have another WE squad ready. Im going to "Defrog" my dread along with them and add a pic sometime in the next 24 hours.
