Cvife
Hi everyone, I thought I'd just show off some of my recent painting. I bought a Space Marine Storm Talon for my very slowly growing Novamarines army, I based the colour scheme on the one from Badab War part 1 but modified it to look more stream lined. Here's the finished product: http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s402/Cvifepainting/IMG_0944.jpg http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s402/Cvifepainting/IMG_0945.jpg http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s402/Cvifepainting/IMG_0943.jpg http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s402/Cvifepainting/IMG_0946.jpg That's all, what do you think? demio
I have to say I really am not a fan of this thing but it's paint jobs like this that makes me want to buy one. Lovely mate, I like this twist on the paint job also. (I believe Novamarines are usually quartered?) Can you post some of your marines I would love to see some more of these. tyrannosaurus
Stunning, love the scheme and the weathering. Only thing that I would change is the blue lights at the front [think they're lights] which merge into the stripe, maybe green lighting?
The_Chaplain
Holy cow! the weathered armor is fantastic, and the lit cockpit is phenomenal! Absolutely stunning work brother! Any chance we could get some insight as to how to do the lit up cockpit?

Makkeru
Looks good! :) Only thing is the side shot, the weathering on the back part looks a bit too uniform for some reason.
Cyrox
Man, that thing is beat up! Nice paint job, i like the non-quartered colour scheme, it really works quite well You need a Novamarines symbol on it though :)
WarriorFish
The colour scheme and weathering really capture the eye! Excellent job! Could you give me some tips on weathering? It's something I've been meaning to do but I've failed miserably with each attempt. I just can't seem to get the amount/randomness right.
elmo
Nice :D Does the black stand block "line of sight"? ;)

I'm with him, I think the make or break on the ST is the paint job. I might do my salamanders on the same way.
Kassill
Wow, I've always enjoyed seeing Novamarines, and this just rocks! Would love to see it with some of your other Novamarines!

dizzy-xc
Whatever servitor painted that ST, they forgot to mix in the anti-corrosive paint protection! Damn, that thing is bad ass. Ugly ass model, but your paint job actually makes it look good. I would love to be able to paint my whole army with weathering like that. Just awesome... You should get an auto weathering save of at least 5+ just for that paint...

NemFX
That's the first decent StormTalon I've seen so far. Seriously, I'm getting so sick of our armada of bricks.. But yeah. Great paint scheme. I think you might have gone a little overboard with the weathering but it works, and I love the base. How did you do the flowers?
