DominicJ
I had an idea, two in fact. Idea on. Buy everyone a drop pod. Dont put your tactical ect in theirs, and use the empty ones in the initial drop. Use them to block los ect. Drop your strike units throughout the game as normal. Idead two buy everyone a pod. Don put ther tacticals in theirs. Drop the full pods to get everything on the board on turn one. Thoughts? teeef
I am not sure of rules and FAQs to come with sixth but running empty pods has been done. Usually, because half your pods come on in the first turn due to the Drop Pod Assault rule, it wasn't uncommon to add a drop pod to allow you to reserve a drop pod. So if you had four you could drop two empty. They really are not much of an LoS blocker as they must open on landing and the model can be looked through — most people play them that way whether the actual model you use opens up. With the disembarking preventing Assault changes in 6th more people may go to pods as a foot-based assault squad delivery system but I am guessing the Jump Pack will be ascendent.
