bikers with skilled rider in 6th

Oucha - doesn't look like anyone has found it.

 

This is a potential massive benefit for bikers. IF HQs on a bike get this (like previously) it means the whole biker pack gets better cover saves when turboing AND pass all dangerous maneuver tests automatically. It really is huge.

 

BUT .... I can't find out who gets the skill.

Can some with the book clarify that please? The old skilled rider just re-rolled failed dangerous terrain tests, and all ICs had it. Now you say it does what? And does it specifically say it is tranfered to the unit!?

All IC's used to have Skilled Rider. Now that Skilled Rider is rebonkulously awesome, they took it away from IC's. I got all excited when thinking about my various bike armies but alas, it's gone.

 

Skilled Rider gives +1 to Jink saves and auto-pass Dangerous Terrain tests, as long as a single model in the unit has it.

Why not, I am considering a bike squad. Having them as troops is a nice bonus. Haven't read into the pro's and con's yet, but I do recall the jetbike of the HQ dude being pretty nifty.

 

Dude, they are Dark Angels.

 

I'm sure Dark Angels and Space Wolves would come together easy to fight a common foe. Especially if the foe is Chaos or Xenos. During the Eye of Terror campaign they fought side by side, although it was grudgingly.

 

 

That said, I really like the idea (fluff and modelling wise) of allying some White scar bikers with Space Wolf bikers.
