Coverfire
How do the new Psychic Disciplines work? As Space Wolves we have the option to choose Biomancy, Divination or Telekensis as well as our previous powers (right?) So do we choose a discipline, get the Primaris Power and choose one from the list below (or at random)? Heimdall Skullcrusher
No, the way it works is you choose a discipline and make a roll. If you don't like the power you rolled for you can elect to take the Primaris Power instead. Then as you get two powers you repeat (you can use the same discipline or take another one). I'm not sure how it works if you can take one power from the disciplines and one power from Codex:Space Wolves... Lord Ragnarok
its one or the other. you either get BRB powers or codex powers :RTBBB: Correct. I think this is a boon for us if we take more than one RP. Lots of options. Divination seems to be the best, but need to test in battle. Khine
its one or the other. you either get BRB powers or codex powers :D Correct. I think this is a boon for us if we take more than one RP. Lots of options. Divination seems to be the best, but need to test in battle. I can for example see a JP RP using Biomancy with a unit of skyclaws being fairly useful. This edition has opened up so many possibilities that it is almost too hard to choose what to take. Thankfully, we get to choose in deployment. Iacton Qruze
ok to drag this thread up with a quick clarification......If i take master of the runes, that allows me 2 rolls of any available table, due to mastery level THEN + 2 more rolls for the powers i already have?? no, MoR will just give you 2 powers period; either Codex powers of your choice, or 2 rolls on any of the BRB disciplines allowed. All MoR really does is let you cast 2 powers per turn. Wulfebane
All MoR really does is let you cast 2 powers per turn. Does this count toward shooting attacks? (IE: 2x LL?) Vassakov
I can also see Biomancy and a Force Axe being popular, especially in TDA. Iron Arm, Warpspeed and Endurance are all nice for bonus attacks or survival with him.
