Termi Lord Number 2

Recommended Posts

So after my first ever model which was the termi lord. (http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=243596)

I decided to build and paint another seen as i enjoyed it that much and while i was reading through the codex i was reading about giving them demon weapons etc and thought well if im guna give him one, may aswell make it look like one so i ended up buying a demon prince (still in progress) and saw some of the weapons in there and i thought "hmmmm >;)" and while looking through some bits that a friend gave me, i came across some warriors of chaos parts and just had to play around with this termi lord ^^

Hope you guys enjoy this as mush as i did making it. Apologies for the camera quality as i am still using my phone to take pics with

Great job on the termi lord man. The highlighting on the helmet is especially good.

Going forward, I think another/different wash on the gold parts might make it an even stronger piece. It looks like you washed it with nuln oil perhaps? Perhaps trying with a dark brown wash will give it some nice contrast without muting the gold too much. Either way, another highlight of whatever gold you used after the wash could add even more depth to it.

Anyway, great job man. You should be proud of this guy, especially the conversion on his weapon. That's a daemon weapon if I've ever seen one.

Looking forward to seeing more from you.

I like everything about this guy excpet his weapon. With a haft that long, and a blade that large, he cannot physically swing the weapon no matter how strong he is. Should he attempt to swing it baeball bat style, the enemy needs only step inside his guard and he's effectively untouchable by the Lord.

Nitpick, yes. The paint work is geat, though.
