Sixestohit
So with the precision shot rule any rolls of 6's to hit with your sarges can be applied as you want rather than following the normal wound allocation. Under the terminator entry in our book it says a terminator in the squad may replace his storm bolter with an assault cannon. Could the sarge be given said heavy weapon (or a cyclone missile launcher for that matter) for some super sniping? James.
dadieau
I'm thinking that in a Terminator Squad there are Terminators and a Terminator Sgt. A Terminator can get an assault cannon I don't see where a Terminator Sgt can.
Sixestohit
My initial thought too. I'm just wondering where they draw the line on it. Space wolves can take a fair old advantage from it! James.
JamesI
The terminator sergeant can not take an upgrade for a Terminator. He can only take sergeant upgrades (which I don't recall if any exist) or if it says any model (like Vanguard upgrades say).
daboarder
That being said double plasma pistol Sergeants in regular squads are looking nice, get a 6 and pop the enemy sergeant in the face before the charge.

Not a bad plan but I'd rather go for a Tactical Squad with Plasmagun and Combi-Plasma/Lightning Claw on the Sergeant. I'd also pack in a free Multi-Melta for the snap shot. I was never a big fan of Assault Squads, now I'm much less so.
