henrywalker
I seem to have found a big chunk of cheese here. i was reading the grand strategy rule and found that it say the following: "roll a d3 and choose that many infantry, jump infantry, monstorous creature or walker units IN YOUR ARMY based on that it seems that allies can be chosen.... That might be interesting. to be fair i think it makes sense, allied forces wouldn't ignore each other as far as strategy goes. nurglez
Yea, honestly, it's safest to assume we can't do this. Your Allied Detachment is an "Ally of Convenience" and they can't be the target of powers or abilities in your force. If you prefer RAI, the Allied Detachement is not technically under the Grand Master's command. Allies are not always subordinate. <3 They might FAQ this for us, but in the meantime it's safest to assume no, since it's no for virtually everything else like this. there is a thread half way down the page about this, though I am inclined to agree with Thade.
