dadieau Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 I play Blood Angles and we have neither Chapter nor Combat Tactics instead we are subject to Red Thirst. I plan on taking an Allied detachment from the C:SM, I may even take an HQ with Chapter Tactics. How do you think these tactics will work in 6th with detachments? I can see many possibilities. 1. Primary and Allied Detachments are each treated seperately as in 5th ed. 2. Only the Primary Detachment may use it's Combat/Chapter Tactics. 3. In the case of Blood Angels neither may use Combat/Chapter Tactics. Perhaps I missed the rule? Anyone have any input? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Morticon Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 Long story short is that there will be no interaction. Combat Tactics are listed as part of a Space Marine's (codex) special rules. They don't lose any special rules just because they're allies. So they benefit from their own special rules (including combat/chapter tactics).
