elphilo
Great work on the LR and Crusader. Murals are awesome sauce ;). Seriously! Looking at all the hand painted murals in here makes me upset that I'm not very artistic ^_^ With that said I'm in love with your land raiders! Louis
Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated! Great work on the LR and Crusader. Murals are awesome sauce :D. Seriously! Looking at all the hand painted murals in here makes me upset that I'm not very artistic :P With that said I'm in love with your land raiders! For the freehand I cheated and used Ron's excellent freehand guide on FTW: http://fromthewarp.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/...g-out-your.html Practiced on a sketch pad using both methods, and found the "makeshift" transfer excellent for nice flat surfaces. It gives a good starting point to map out the overall shape, and then using the grid technique to add any missing detail. I also spent a lot of time doing Ravenwing bikes and Sanguinary Guard which helped when it came to doing all the wings ;) I've added symbols to all the Rhinos using the same technique, so have to get them onto the table so I can take some updated pictures too.
