mustardParty
Hello Brother, Thought I would post my WIP progress of my DC Stormraven I've been putting together. I have another Raven in proper BA red, and always wanted a black one for the DC - but news of 6th Ed. and the new potential awesomeness now awaiting the Death Company spurred me into action, reviving this once dormant project. I'm posting for C&C, so please fire away! I'm no expert, not even close, and this is my first attempt at really doing ANY kind of weathering on vehicles. I have a tough time painting vehicles and getting even coats, it's all part of the learning process I suppose, but it causes me MUCH avoidance, I'll put off painting vehicles at much as possible! The idea of painting black was a nice change, but, easy to paint, hard to make it look good. So I'm wondering if I've gone too far on the grit factor? Too much wear marks? Also, the next step I'll take is to 'dirty up' the bird, and I'm looking for tips on that if you guys are feeling generous! Archon Yggrasil
Looks good! I approve. The embattled marks on it are an excellent touch. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256225-dc-raven-wip/#findComment-3117995 Share on other sites

Taranis
It looks like it has pulled hard duty several times. I like the look of it. In the throes of the black rage only the enemy can hear you scream!
